Delete your Oktapod Android data

The Android app does not create an Oktapod account. You connect it to an agent that you or another operator provides. Your phone, that agent, and the app developer hold different data, so use the matching step below.

Remove data from this phone

Open the Oktapod menu and choose Forget this agent. Confirm the prompt. This removes the saved agent address, access credentials, conversation identifier, pending sends, and phone-pairing credentials from the app's encrypted local storage. Uninstalling the app also removes its local data; Android backup is disabled. Disconnect alone pauses reconnection but keeps this local data.

Delete conversations or an agent account

Forgetting the agent on your phone does not delete conversations or credentials stored on that agent. Request their deletion from the agent operator or use that agent's own data controls. If you operate the agent, revoke the phone's access key and delete the relevant conversation in your deployment. The app developer cannot access or delete data held by an independently operated agent, model provider, or Tailscale account.

Delete a report sent to the developer

Email edi@oktapod.ai with the report receipt shown when you submitted it. Ask for deletion of that report. Active reports are otherwise retained for up to 30 days; rotating backups can retain a deleted report for up to seven additional days.

Delete optional diagnostics or installation count data

In Privacy and diagnostics, turn off crash reporting and installation counting to stop new transmissions. Turning off installation counting requests deletion of its pseudonymous record; an offline request retries on the next active day. Count records are otherwise pruned after 90 inactive days. Crash reports contain only app release and error type. Email edi@oktapod.ai for help with developer-held records, stating the report receipt if you have one. Do not email access keys or chat content.
